Could I get the van in Kona?
Yes, we are currently delivering the van to Kona/Waikoloa/Waimea area at an additional cost. You can select that option on checkout during your booking process.
If you've already booked your flight in Kona, but don't want to pay for delivery no worries, then I suggest checking out the Hele-On bus routes. There is a bus you can catch directly from Kona airport to Hilo bus station. It is a beautiful scenic route up the north end of the Island, or directly across the island. It is Free, has AC, is spacious and has enough room for luggage underneath the bus.

Though we do our best to monitor the schedule and keep it up to date, please also check the Hele-On site to cross-reference or for any updates from the company itself.

Be advised that Lyft/Uber are not reliable for getting across the island, we don't have that many here and even if you've scheduled one we've seen them more often than not be cancelled. Taxis can cost around $300 one way to cut across the island.
